A car will not be required for guests staying in downtown Lancaster. We will be providing shuttles to the wedding on Saturday from the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square and the Holiday Inn. Uber is also widely available for further convenience. To see our shuttle schedule, please click here.
Philadelphia and Baltimore are large, high-capacity airports. Both are around 1hr 30min from Lancaster. If flying into Philadelphia (PHL), you could also opt to take the Amtrak train from Philadelphia 30th Street Station to Lancaster ($21 | 50min).
Alternatively, if flying into Baltimore (BWI), you can take the Amtrak train from BWI Rail Station to Lancaster ($23 | 1hr 40min), or a direct airport shuttle is available for around $60-75 each way.
DCA is located just across the Potomac River from downtown D.C. To get to Lancaster from the airport, you have a few options:
Car: Takes about 2 hours.
Train: Take an Uber/shuttle to Union Station in D.C., then catch an Amtrak train to Lancaster Train Station (LNC). The train ride is about 2 hours.
Bus: Buses like Greyhound or Megabus depart from D.C. and go to Lancaster, with a travel time of around 2hrs 30min.
JFK Airport offers a wide range of international and domestic flights, with easy access to New York Ciy via public transit.
To get from JFK Airport to Lancaster, you can follow these steps:
Car: Roughly a 3 hours trip.
Train: Take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station. From Jamaica, take the Long Island Rail Road to Penn Station in NYC. From Penn Station, catch an Amtrak train to Lancaster Train Station (LNC). Typically takes 4-5 hours, depending on transfer times.
EWR is a major hub for both domestic and international flights, offering easy access to New York City. Here are some options to get to Lancaster from EWR:
Car: The drive takes about 2 hours.
Train: You can take a NJ Transit train from EWR to Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. From there, you can transfer to an Amtrak train to Lancaster Train Station (LNC). Takes about 3hrs 30min.
Bus: Several bus services, including Greyhound, operate routes from Newark to Lancaster. The bus ride typically takes 3 to 4 hours.

This former tobacco warehouse was converted into a luxury boutique hotel in 2004 and maintains many of the original elements of the historic building, while brimming with local artwork.
While the Lancaster Arts Hotel is about one mile from downtown, it is a quick Uber ride to all Lancaster's main attractions!

Airbnb is a great choice if you are traveling with a group or just prefer to have more space to spread out! There are plenty of options located within 2-3 blocks of the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square in the center of downtown Lancaster. You will be able to easily walk to the shuttles leaving to/from the Lancaster Marriott for all events on Saturday!
