Our Wedding

We first met in 2016 on Match.com.  Our first get-together (not a date) was a hike with our respective dogs. A love for dogs, nature, live music and exercise quickly formed the basis for spending more and more time together. More time led to real dates and real feelings, (though one of us won’t admit to having feelings). At the beginning, friends on both sides commonly exclaimed, “I don’t get it”.  But that sentiment was quickly dismissed as they saw how much fun we have together and the love we have for each other. In 2018, we made the big decision to move in together. Not quite a year later the opportunity to buy the home we had been renting was presented. It was a no-brainer. We count our blessings every day for the gift of being able to have a home in Santa Barbara and to share that home with friends and family. Those who “didn’t get it” early on understand now that it was meant to be. We’re told the love we share is felt by those around us, and that is the best compliment of any relationship. After nine and a half years together, we have decided that neither one of us is going anywhere without the other, and we should make it official. We are so glad you can be a part of our celebration!
