Venue: The ceremony and reception will take place at Casa Hacienda La Milagrosa, a beautiful historic ranch located in the district of Lurín just outside of the city of Lima. Milagrosa is a little less than an hour drive from Miraflores, the neighborhood in Lima in which we anticipate many guests will be staying. We will be providing transportation from Miraflores to the venue. Given that the celebration has no specific end time (woo!), guests should plan to use Uber/Lyft to return to Lima as they are plentiful and inexpensive. Additional Travel:If you plan on traveling to Cusco and Machu Picchu during your time in Peru, we recommend doing so after the wedding as the trip can be taxing and we want everyone to be party-ready! If you are planning to travel to Cusco before the wedding, we recommend departing Cusco and arriving in Lima no later than the morning of May 1 to make sure you’re rested for the festivities! We recommend allowing three days in Cusco to acclimate to the altitude and allow ample time to explore Machu Picchu. We will be going after the wedding from May 5th to May 9th. If you are planning to go let us know! we would love to meet up or say hi while we are there.

🌊 Explore Miraflores (by the ocean)-Walk or bike the Malecón de Miraflores (cliffside path with ocean views).-Watch paragliders take off above the Pacific or join one-Visit Larcomar for shopping, coffee, and sunset views.-Relax at Playa Makaha or nearby beaches along the Costa Verde. 🎨 Visit Barranco (arts &amp; nightlife)-Walk around colorful Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district.-Cross the Puente de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs).-Browse art galleries, murals, and boutique shops.-Enjoy bars and live music in the evening (Barranco has the best nightlife vibe). 🏛️ Culture &amp; History-Explore Centro Histórico de Lima (Plaza Mayor, Cathedral, colonial architecture).-Visit Museo Larco for pre-Columbian art and history (very guest-friendly).-See Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pyramid right in the middle of Miraflores.-Take a guided walking tour to learn about Lima’s colonial past. 🍽️ Eat &amp; Drink (a MUST in Lima)-Lima is one of the best food cities in the world.- See a list of restaurant recommendations <a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-w-CtMtRc8i7EIphCFOgX2y5qAh3PgyuseCMz4C3uaU/edit?gid=25419412#gid=25419412" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>!
