Our Wedding

Was it by chance or destiny that Rosita and Heri met, developed a friendship and fell in love? Rosita was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, moved to California with her kids Erika and Edwin seeking a better life. After some time, Rosita followed her grown children to Arizona. On the other hand, Heri’s parents moved from Puerto Rico to Connecticut where Heri was born and raised, moved to Arizona seeking a better life where his son Stefen was born and raised. Two worlds so far apart. Both Rosita and Heri both had a passion to learn Salsa dancing and  with this passion, which is how the story begins. Heri was already in a class practicing Salsa when Rosita entered an ongoing salsa class, elegantly crossed the dance floor in search of dance instructor. It wasn’t until after class that Rosita and Heri met. Rosita was complaining to the dance instructor that men at the Blue Martini, on Latin night, do not dance. Heri interrupted Rosita and said if you want to go dancing you let me know. After the third interruption by Heri saying if you want to go dancing you let me know, Rosita firmly said  “Latin Night is tonight so you want to go let’s go” So Rosita and Heri danced all night and Heri was tired and asked Rosita to take break, and Rosita replied “no let’s keep going and they danced non-stop until 2am. The next day the Salsa instructor asked Heri, how did it go last night with Rosita. Heri replied“I was so tired, and she never stopped dancing”. In the next class, the Salsa Instructor also asked Rosita how it went with Heri, and she replied Heri, and I had a very good time dancing all night. The dance instructor laughed and replied Her told me the same thing, and you and Heri are getting married. So, in the first few months, they fell in love. Rosita and Heri continued to have a good time over the next 8 years and now they are getting married.
