Where is the Wedding Taking Place?

Cantigny Park 1S, 151 Winfield Rd Wheaton, IL 60189 Everything is a one stop shop! Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be here!

Where is the Ceremony?

The ceremony will be at the East Lawn of Cantigny Park. After you park, follow the trail to the red bricked mansion. Follow the trail to the right. You can’t miss us! There will be signage to help you!

Where is the Reception?

The party will be at Le Jardin! After you park, it’s the building straight ahead!

What Time is the Ceremony?

4:30pm! You may come early, but try not to come too early before 4:00pm! Feel free to walk the gardens or visit the tanks to pass the time!

What Time is the Reception?

Cocktail hour starts at 5:30. Seating begins around 6:00. Dinner will start at 7:00.

What Should I Wear?

Our wedding attire is formal! Ties are recommended for gentlemen . You may even wear a full suit! Most gentlemen wear a button down with a tie and a jacket. Feel free to sport a bow tie! Knee length, midi, or floor length dresses are recommended for ladies. Formal jumpsuits for women can also work! The bride asks that guests refrain from wearing white.

What Weather Should I Expect?

We are no Tom Skilling, but expect to experience a day in the 70s and an evening in the 50s. The ceremony is outside, so please prepare yourselves for sun and a breeze. In the event that it is expected to rain, we have an alternate location for the ceremony! Don’t worry: We’ll be indoors!

Is Everything Happening Outside?

The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting. The reception will be indoors.

What Should I Expect After the Ceremony?

Immediate Family and the Wedding Party will be taking pictures for about 20-30 minutes. The wedding party will then be off taking pictures on the park grounds for about 40 minutes to 1 hour. Guests can walk back to Le Jardin (2 minute walk) where hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be flowing. Dinner will be followed after Nick and Rosa’s grand entrance!

Is There Transportation Provided?

Nick and Rosa are not providing formal transportation. There is ample parking, and it’s completely free!

Is There a Hotel Nearby?

Yes! The closest hotel is the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House (27554 Maecliff Dr. Warrenville, IL) They provide a shuttle service to and from Cantigny!

How Do I RSVP?

With your invitation, there is an RSVP QR code and website link. Let us know your plans right here on our website!

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Please, RSVP by September 1st, 2024! So we can order enough snacks and booze!!!

Can I Bring My Kids?

This will be an adults only party! Please, leave the little ones at home!

Can I Bring a Guest?

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

What If I Have Dietary Restrictions?

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Will There be an Open Bar?

Yes. Of course.

Is There a Wedding Hashtag?

Can I Take and Post Pictures of the Wedding on Social Media?

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #thereimteam so we can see them, too!
