There are a ton of wonderful restaurants on the island; however, please check restaurant openings via instagram or google before going as many do close down for the off-season!
A few of our favorites in Beach Haven include Barry's, Country Kettle Chowda, Buckalew's, Black Whale, Dock & Claw, and Bird and Betty's.
Best bar on the island...GO!
The Hudson House (duh!), but if you are looking for something a little more upscale, we love The Triton, Tucker's, Bird and Betty's, The Seashell, Black Whale, Delaware Avenue Oyster House, and Terrace Tavern. You really can't go wrong here.
Undoubtedly one of my favorite things to do in LBI is shop - I can't say the same for Jason!
A few of my favorite stores include How to Live, Sur La Plage, The Dune Market, and Faria's. We also love to peruse Bay Village - especially the candy shop (that one, Jason enjoys!)
Built in 1859, Old Barney is a LBI landmark that stands tall at the end of our beautiful island. While you will not be able to climb the 217 steps to the top after Labor Day, Barnegat Lighthouse State Park provides a nice area to walk around and take in the views.
Showcasing famous New Jersey ship wrecks, this museum is fun to visit if you want to learn more about New Jersey ocean history!
Even in our mid to *late* 20's, we have so much fun having a few adult beverages then heading to Fantasy Island for a ride on the ship or a few arcade games.
