Tyler & I matched on a dating app around June 23' and I vaguely remembered him from middle/grade school. I thought to myself How funny it would be if I swiped right and it matched then I thought no way it's going to match... So I ended up swiping and to my surprise it matched Instantly!!! It took him about a day to actually message me though but we made plans to have our first date at a coffee shop. I was a little nervous walking in but felt calm as I met his gaze. He of course let me babble on the entire date and I for sure thought that would be our first and last date but clearly not. A week later we went on another date & he asked me to be his girlfriend and I obviously said yes. Over the summer we continued to grow together and one month became two and two became three. Over the fall months things got rough and we ended things but January came around and we somehow found our way back to each other finally. Somehow through all of this our love never died the months following he's filled my life with such joy and light, March came around and he finally asked me to marry him and here we are now planning a wedding...!!!
I was on a dating app and I swiped on a really cute girl that I thought was out of my league. When I got the notification when we matched I assumed she was going to unmatch with me. I was like she's way too cute and she'll unmatch with me so I waited for a whole day for that to happen. When I checked the app the next day and I saw her still there on my match list, I was like hey why not shoot my shot at this point. After getting her to know her a bit through text, I was excited to know more about her, so I asked her out for a cup of coffee. I was super nervous that she wasn't going to like me or that I was going to be talking way too much, but much to my surprise and liking, she did most of the talking on our first date. After our date ended, I walked her back to her car and was so nervous as I wanted to kiss her but decided against it and I didn't want to see like I was trying to do too much. I was hoping she liked me as much as I liked her. Then on our next date, I took her to Lake Vista Park (where I proposed to her) with Diary Queen and we talked and walked down to the lake. On that date, I looked into her beautiful brown eyes and saw a sparkle in them and I knew I was falling for her. We then went to Whitnall Park by the waterfall and I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes! So summer drew on and my love for her only deepened and I knew she was something special. As fall came around and things out of our control happened, we went on a break and it was very hard for me but after we started talking again, I had hope we could rekindle our flame. We started dating again in January and with life being so short and how passionately I feel about her, I proposed to her in March and here we are now planning to spend our lives together.
