Our Wedding

Roxanne and Kejuan’s story started quietly, in a world of profile pictures and typed-out hellos. It was 2013—back when WiFi wasn’t everywhere and meeting someone online still felt like a secret little adventure. Roxanne, naturally shy and careful with new connections, took her time. Kejuan, more outgoing and quick with a joke, made it easy for her to open up. They messaged. They called. They laughed. A lot. Over time, what started as casual chats turned into late-night conversations about life, family, dreams—and what kind of tacos they’d order if they ever actually met in person. It took Roxanne a whole year to meet Kejuan face to face. Not because she didn’t want to—just because some things take time, and she wanted to be sure. When they finally did meet, it felt like stepping into something that had been waiting for them all along. Since then, they’ve been building a beautiful life together. From spontaneous trips and trying every Mexican restaurant within reach, to raising their two boys with love, laughter, and intention—they’ve created something solid, something real. They started with messages on a screen, but now? Now they’re each other’s home.
