Q + A

Is lodging limited?

Although the area is a popular seasonal tourist area and there is a lot of accommodations, availability will be limited. Additionally, there are other large events in the area scheduled for this weekend, so we strongly encourage you to book your reservations before March 31st if you plan on staying in the area.

Where can I stay?

We have worked with three fine establishments to block some rooms (see the Lodging page of this website), but we want to stress the importance of making your reservation before March 31, 2024 as that is the latest date, they will hold the room blocks. Please see the “Travel” section of this website for these three establishments. Additionally, you can visit this resource but please keep in mind the need to book early - Stay (inletny.com)

Has transportation been arranged to and/or from the venue?

Yes. If you are staying at one of the three locations that we have blocked rooms at, there will be a shuttle service we have arranged. If you choose to stay elsewhere you can use this shuttle service but will need to make your own arrangements getting to and from the designated pick-up locations.

Where can I park?

There is limited parking available at the venue sight. We will have a designated area for parking somewhat near the venue site, but you can expect to have a bit of a walk. If you need any special accommodation, we are happy to help and ask you to reach out to us directly.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Please reach out to us directly and we will make sure all accommodation will be made.

Will the ceremony take place indoors or outdoors?

This is an outdoor event and we have made accommodations to deal with mother nature if needed. We will be having a tent for the reception, but the ceremony will be untented.

What will the weather be like?

September signifies a minor drop in average high-temperature, transitioning from a pleasant 73.2°F in August to a comfortable 66.4°F. In September, the temperature in Inlet, New York, drops to an average of 48°F at night, so plan accordingly. September is the month with the least rainfall.

Will food be served?

The wedding ceremony and the reception are being held at the same location and there will be plenty of food for appetizers and dinner.

Is there a dress code?

We are requesting dressy casual for a dress code. Women, please keep in mind that the terrain of the lakeside venue is not ideal for high-heeled footwear. Please keep in mind the event is outside so remember to check the weather forecast prior to the big day.

Are children invited?

Although we love to watch the children run and play, this is going to be an adults only kind of day. Please make it a date night. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What can I expect from the ceremony and reception?

A casual yet classy gathering of friends and family which is taking place in the magnificent Adirondacks. You can expect an environment and atmosphere that will allow us to create lasting memories for all that attend. Whether you like to dance the night away, sit by a campfire, talk much, laugh often, enjoy good food and drinks or just chill, you will have no problem finding your comfort zone!

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

Please see the “Things to Do” section of this webpage.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 4:30 pm and the reception begins at 5:00. Our recommendation would be to arrive by 4:00 and there will be light appetizers and beverages available prior to the ceremony.

How do I RSVP?

The easiest way to RSVP is on the RSVP page of this website which will be available soon. Additionally, you will receive a RSVP option within your wedding invitation.

When should I RSVP by?

The due date for RSVP is July 29, 2024. Please keep in mind that March 31, 2024 is the last date that the Hotels and the Cottages were holding the rooms that were blocked so please do not confuse the two deadlines.
