After 11 wonderful years together, we are finally saying “I do.”

They say good things take time, and we truly believe it is our time. From high school sweethearts to husband and wife, what a journey it has been!

From Chasing to Forever

From Janine chasing after Ruan to Ruan asking Janine to be his forever, it couldn’t have turned out any differently.

The Proposal

Ruan surprised Janine with a picture-perfect proposal. After waiting what felt like forever, we finally get to spend forever as husband and wife.

On the first day of our vacation, Ruan started the day on his phone (Janine, being short-tempered, took a photo and sent it to him on WhatsApp 😅). He finally put the phone down, and we had the best beach day.

Ruan then told me he had planned a photoshoot — how cute! The photographer said she wanted to take some test shots, and when I turned around… there was Ruan on his knees with the most beautiful ring 💍.

To top it all off, he arranged a seafood picnic on the beach. Turns out, his being on the phone was all part of planning the most memorable day of my life.

Forever Together

We have always seen each other as lifelong partners, and now we are making it official ❤️
