Our Wedding

Ruben and I first met at church in April 2023. At the time, he was doing his community service year at a nearby rural hospital. We quickly became part of the same social circle, frequently attending the same braais and movie nights . One evening, Ruben noticed me sitting alone and looking sad, and he took the initiative to come and sit with me. Our friends, eager to play matchmaker, immediately began instigating our future together. However, I had committed to a year of singleness, a conviction I felt strongly from the Lord. Ruben's love and commitment knew no bounds. He patiently waited for me while I finished my year of singleness, supporting me every step of the way. His selfless devotion helped me stay on track, and I'm forever grateful for his loving presence in my life. When my season of singleness came to an end, it took Rubes an entire 2 minutes to ask me to be his girlfriend. Our journey together wasn't without its challenges, though. We faced a three-month period of separation, during which time the Lord worked on each of us individually, refining and preparing us for what was to come. 5 months later we got engaged and here we are! We look back and see God's hand in every detail of our relationship and we are so thankful to Him for blessing us with each other! We are beyond excited to enter into this new season of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
