That same month, Ruby's best friend gifted her with concert tickets for her birthday but could not attend due to last minute changes. Courtney then suggested she take Cordé with her. That night on 9/26/22, Cordé asked Ruby to be his girlfriend! Of course, she said yes. The relationship felt effortless, with emotions growing in what felt like the most natural way. Cordé then proposed to Ruby the following year on 9/3/23, on her birthday! She said yes! They got married on 11/10/23 in an intimate church ceremony preformed by Ruby's God Father. It was important for the ceremony to be in a church.
