Hey Ruby and Donald, can we crash with you instead of getting a hotel?
As excited as we are to spend time with all our favorite people, we don't have a ton of space to share - our house is reserved for the immediate family of the bride and groom.
Are kids allowed?
Of course! We're looking forward to celebrating with our little loved ones! All invited guests are welcome to bring their children, but we kindly ask that they keep them closely supervised at all times. Should there be any disruptions during the ceremony or other special moments, we please ask that you and your child momentarily step away so as to avoid further distraction. We'll try our best to provide kid-inclusive activities so everyone has a great time!
So kids are okay, what about pets?
The venue has a strict "no animal" policy, so please keep your pets at home. The bride and groom have their own fur babies who can be dog-selective as well, if you've traveled with your pets, please find separate arrangements for them for the big day.
Can we bring a bottle of our favorite liquor to share at the wedding?
Windy Hills Winery offers a wonderful selection of house wines and craft beer. They strictly forbid outside liquor for legal reasons, we want to respect their rules so the bride and groom ask that you do not bring outside alcohol. If you wanted to gift the happy couple a sealed bottle, that would be welcomed and we could share a drink another time.
What's the jive with plus ones?
Established couples are individually named on their invitations. In order to keep their wedding intimate and special, and to exclusively share the day with closest friends and family, we are not issuing any "plus ones". Please don't bring any additional guests not named on your invitation, and please do not ask the future Mr or Mrs if you can bring your tinder date to their wedding, the answer is most likely "no."
What should I wear?
Donald and Ruby want their guests to feel comfortable and confident so there is no formal dress code but please use your best judgment on what is appropriate wedding attire. Connecticut Casual/Pennsylvania business is a reference to The Office, not an official dress code. But pastel sweater vests are, of course, welcome.
