Our story unknowingly began about seventeen years ago at James Martin Middle School. Though we knew of each other since 6th grade, we officially met in 8th grade geometry and became fast friends.

During our freshman and sophomore years at Vance High School, we grew closer. We shared many obstacles and laughs in our math and science classes-- most notably algebra II and chemistry!

When Mallard Creek opened, we we kept in touch through Facebook from time to time and reconnected at our college orientation. Coincidently, we both attended the final orientation session for rising freshman at UNC-Chapel Hill. We picked up right where we left off, great friends with similar ambitions and humor. We laughed uncontrollably, had instant inside jokes, and forged trust quickly throughout orientation and our first few weeks at Carolina. We were in a whole new place, managing new responsibilities and freedom. We felt like old friends, best friends.

By the end of our freshman year, we were joined at the hip and then the heart. And since, we haven't looked back. We have been there for braces, applications, caps and gowns, first jobs, "real" jobs, new cars, everything! At the heart of our relationship, we are best friends.

We have grown individually and together, shared disappointments and accomplishments...and now we want to share this special celebration with you all!

We are getting married!!! ^_^
