Will there be a ceremony at the LDS temple?
The couple will be sealed for eternity through a sacred ceremony in the Dallas Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The sealing will be held in the coming months and our closest friends and family will be invited to attend.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
Is there a dress code?
We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit or sports jacket for men.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed, so we invite you to bring a date or friend over the age of twelve if it will enhance your enjoyment of the festivities. Please remember to include them in your RSVP.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Unless you are family, please do not bring guests under the age of 12.
What type of food will you be serving?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner of Texas BBQ meats and sides. Vegetarian options will be limited to a small selection of sides.
Will you be serving alcohol?
No. This will be an alcohol-free celebration (but there will be Topo Chico).
What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?
Please be in your seats by 4:00 PM for the wedding ceremony. The ceremony location is a very short walk from the parking lot.
If you are unable to make it in time for the ceremony, please join us when you can! We invite you to arrive at any time, up until the bride and groom's grand exit at 7:45 PM. Please note that dinner service will end at 6:00.
I have work/school/stuff in the afternoon. What if I can't make it in time for the ceremony?

Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, please! This will help us ensure there is plenty of food, drinks, and merriment for all.
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by October 25 so that we can ensure the party is ready for you!
Is there a hotel block available for wedding guests?
No, there is not a hotel block reserved. Visit the Travel page on this site for suggestions on nearby lodging.
What will the weather be like?
Fall weather in Texas is typically mild, with highs in the upper sixties or low seventies. However, Texas weather can be unpredictable, and we suggest you check the forecast before packing.
What should we bring/where should we send gifts?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you may bring it to the reception or have it sent to our home. Our registry is linked on this site and includes our address.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Ceremony: We request that you put your phones away and enjoy the occasion. There will be a professional photographer who will capture the ceremony.
Cocktail hour and reception: Feel free to snap pictures (and send us copies of the good ones )!
