We met through our mutual friends, Jared and Maria, who knew both of us separately for several years. Knowing our personalities and astrological signs, they knew we would be a perfect match. Although we were hesitant coming out from a pandemic and skeptical of astrological signs, we agreed to a blind date at Alibi coffee shop in LA.

Brian knew he found someone special when Ruth brought Porto's on the first date and Ruth knew when Brian spent 14 hours making tamales with her grandma. Over the past three and a half years together, we have experienced many of the best and worst moments of our lives. Going into this marriage, Ruth knows she has found a true life partner and Brian is now a confident, humble, and very in love man.
