We had known each other for a long time, but it wasn’t until more recently that things began to change. One evening, we were at the Griffith Observatory with my sisters. It wasn’t anything romantic—we didn’t even think of it that way at the time—but something about that night felt different. We ended up talking more than we ever had before. It wasn’t planned, and it wasn’t anything big, but it was the start of something God was quietly doing in both of our hearts. Not long after that, he asked me out on a date. As we spent more time together, we started to really understand each other—our hearts, our faith, our dreams. The more we talked, the more we realized how much peace there was between us. It felt like something only God could have orchestrated.Through every moment—small and big—we could see how God was writing our story. Separately, He had been growing us, stretching us, and preparing us. And when the time was right, He brought us together in the most gentle and perfect way.A little over a year later, he brought me back to that same spot at the Griffith Observatory. This time, it was just the two of us, with the sun setting over the city—and that’s where he proposed. We’re so thankful for what God has done, and we’re excited to keep walking this story He’s writing—hand in hand.“He hath made everything beautiful in His time.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11
