Dillon and Ruth's love story began in 2013 while they both were finishing senior year in highschool. The couple had many mutual friends but never really talked. Dillon was VERY quite in highschool and Ruth has never been shy at all. 
As the months continued Dillon started hanging out more with some of Ruth's friends. Eventually the couple become close friends. 


August 3rd 2014 Dillon and Ruth were invited out to a friends cabin. After spending all day out on the lake Dillon whispered to Ruth I love you for the first time. It was so unexpected that Ruth panic and just told Dillon thanks. (Ruth said it back the next day) lol


November 24th 2014 Dillon went to pick up Ruth for supper. As Ruth was walking outside to meet him, Dillon was waiting for her with a bouquet of her favorite flowers. Dillon officially had asked Ruth to be his girlfriend. 


May 2015 Ruth had moved into her first apartment with Alayna. Dillon has always been supportive and helpful in Alayna's life. After a few months the couple decided it would just make more sense if they got an apartment together, and That's exactly what they did. Later in the year they moved into a townhome across town. Their love continued to grow, many many MANY years later. Dillon and Ruth found out they were expecting a child in September 2021. The couple and big sister Alayna welcomed Soulene into their family.


May 20th 2023 was the day Dillon decided to FINALLY ask Ruth to marry him. He got the girls t-shirts. Alayna's saying “Mommy will you marry daddy?” and Soulene's saying “Its time to give Mommy our lastname.” Dillon then got down on one knee and asked Ruth to MARRY HIM! 


The couple have been together a long time and have overcome a lot in their relationship, only making them love each other even more then the day before. Together the couple can not wait to share their special day with family and friends.
