What shots are required before traveling to Kenya?

You are not required to get any shots to travel to Kenya, but we would recommend you take malaria medicine. Please feel free to consult with a travel clinic.

Where can we purchase our visa?

Kenya recently changed their policy regarding visas. Instead of purchasing your visa at the airport you can purchase an eVisa through this website.

Should I bring credit cards or cash on my trip?

You can bring credit cards, but majority of the local places you will be visiting in Kenya only take cash. You may want to verify with your credit card provider to make sure they have international coverage. We would recommend using a foreign exchange bank to exchange your foreign currency to Kenyan Shillings. You can also exchange your money at the airport or at another location in Nairobi.

What is the Exchange rate?

As of June 1st 2015 the exchange rate is 1USD = 95.45 Kenyan Shillings. Exchange rates are subject to change.

How will I be able to keep in touch with family and friends?

Most public places in Kenya have Wifi, including the hotel where the majority of you will be residing. You may also purchase a Kenyan sim card for your phone upon arrival, if you wish to make calls within Kenya or overseas.

When do we need to RSVP?

When should we book a room at the Panorama Park Hotel?

Rooms need to be booked by February 1st 2016

Will I be able to travel if I have dietary or medical restrictions?

The hotel staff is able to accommodate for any gluten, dairy, or vegetation restrictions. Please inform us if you have any dietary or medical restrictions prior to the wedding.
