Micah and Ruth met in May of 2022 while working at Camp Chautauqua. They quickly became good friends and adopted a cat along with some friends. Somewhere along the line Micah and Ruth started to realize that they had feelings for each other. They continued to build their relationship while ensuring that Jesus came first.

Upon realizing they felt the same way toward each other, Micah and Ruth went to a park to talk and get to know each other better. This led to Micah struggling to pick up limes on Ruth's porch and asking her on an adventurous date a month later.

After 2 months of dates and conversations about the future and anything else that came up, Ruth and Micah confessed their love. Fast forward 10 months, lots of laughs, plenty of road trips, and family visits, Micah asked Ruth to marry him at the park where they first talked about a relationship.

One year and 3 days later, Micah and Ruth get married on August 29th, 2024.
