Our Wedding

Ryan and Claire met through the wonderful world of online dating. They had their first date at Stauf's Coffee Roasters on July 23, 2023. (Little did they know, in a couple of short years, they would be getting married in the church across the street.)After Ryan passed the tests of character doled out by Claire's dog, Arlo, they spent the next year and a half enjoying walks in German Village, taking road trip adventures, and cooking new dinner recipes together.Ryan proposed in April 2025, and after lots of planning, they are so excited to celebrate with friends and family in the neighborhood where it all started.

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE? Please try to arrive at the church by 1:00-1:15. The church will close its doors a few minutes before the ceremony begins at 1:30.For the reception, drinks and snacks will start at 5:00 on-site. Dinner will start at 6:00. WHERE DO WE SIT AT THE CEREMONY? Wherever! No sides, just love. WHERE DO WE PARK? Parking for the ceremony is located in the lots behind St. Mary's Church, and across Sycamore Street behind the school. There is also free 2-hour street parking on the surrounding streets, as indicated on the signs.

Parking for the reception at Strongwater is located in the gravel lot, across Lucas Street. There will be a QR code and attendants to assist with free parking validation.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO BETWEEN CEREMONY AND RECEPTION? Check out our "Things to Do" page for some ideas for how to enjoy some of our favorite nearby spots! CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS? We ask that you please silence and put away phones and cameras for the ceremony, and enjoy the moment "unplugged."We are happy to share photos from our photographer, and we can't wait to see your shots from the reception! CAN WE BRING THE KIDDOS? While we love your little ones, we respectfully request this event to be 18+ with the exception of our nieces and nephews. Please adhere to the guest count on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
