We met through mutual friends in a bar in Nebraska. We talked all evening and then I convinced Ryan that he needed my number so we could talk again sometime.

A couple months later we met again through mutual friends. This time Ryan asked me to go out on a date before the night was over.

On March 2nd, 2021 we went on our first date. I thought I was getting stood up because I went in the wrong side of the restaurant! We both came into the date with a, “well let’s just see what happens” attitude and we ended up hitting it off!

We started dating by the end of March 2021. Once we started dating our connection grew quickly and with great strength. It quickly became clear to each of us that we had found something so special and rare in the love that we share for each other!

June 16, 2023 was a day we will never forget! We spent the morning visiting some of our favorite places in Lincoln, NE (Scheels and Kinkaider Brewery Taproom). A couple of friends joined us at Kinkaider to catch up. Ryan suggested that we take a picture together to remember this trip. While posing for a picture Ryan got down on one knee and caught me 100% by surprise with the most amazing surprise! I said, “Shut up” and then said, “YES!”
