Ryan and Ava spent the majority of their childhood in Mustang, OK. Ava has been going to FBC Mustang since she was two years old. Ryan began attending with his school friends when he was fifteen years old. In the summer, the youth goes to a church camp called Falls Creek. In 2022 they went and enjoyed their week and on the way home they met! They began having deep theological conversations challenging each other. Five months of questions and conversations they began to date on December 12th! They enjoyed their time dating playing ping pong, pickleball, watching movies, eating, and spending time with each other’s families. October of 2023 Ava and her family moved to Virginia beginning their two year long distance relationship. In this time they cherished the few weekends that their parents so graciously provided and in between those trips they did dinner over the phone, played online Rummikub, and continued our passion of watching movies. They both got to attend each other’s proms and graduations!! In April while Ryan was in VA for Ava’s prom, Ryan asked her dad for her hand and of course, he said YES! Shortly after, Ava moved back to OK and two days later, August 8th, Ryan was down on a knee! They are both currently pursuing their future professions of becoming a doctor and a hairdresser. (You get to decide who is who.) They are beyond excited for their future marriage and are pursuing a God honoring life together!
