Here we are... your modern day love story. We meet on none other than Hinge (a dating app) and can definitely say it does work! With paths that never would have crossed from 98 miles away, our story began when we matched in early April of 2023.

A handful of dates later, we started officially dating on 6/14/2023. Since Ryan was living in Appleton and Lexi was in Franklin we spent A LOT of weekends driving up and down Interstate-41. Although between concerts, sporting events, church services, fairs, dinner dates, board/card games, family functions, and road-trips we always made the most of our time together.

After doing medium distance for a while, Ryan decided he wanted to move down to the Milwaukee Area. During our holiday travels, Ryan accepted a job offer set to start in January of 2024. With little time to transition his life from Appleton to Menomonee Falls, our quick housing solution was staying with Lexi's family. So, when we got home from vacation, Ryan packed his bags for the Boram household. It is safe to say Ryan was a natural addition to the family given he moved in with Lexi's parents after 6 months of dating.

Fast forward to April and Ryan, after receiving the Blessing from Rusty (with ease) and Jeanne (with a little more sweating), bought a ring.

Heading into June, with a combined family effort (thanks Dawn, Del, Rusty, and Brett) we moved Lexi out of her apartment in Franklin and Ryan out of the Boram house into an apartment in Menomonee Falls. We have now progressed from living 1.5 hours away to 25 minutes away to 2 minutes away!

After all the moving chaos we headed up north to Phillips, WI for Lexi's annual family reunion. On 6/18/2024 Ryan took Lexi for a hike and proposed on the peninsula of Lake Solberg.

Now that takes us to today where we are planning what will be the best day of our lives. We cannot wait to celebrate our special day with all of you!
