Our Wedding

As told by Chad… We met in the summer of 2012, on September 30, after our first trip together to Ocean City we made it official. We shared the holidays together and come 2013 we were excited for our first Valentine’s Day as a couple. Black ice and a few days in shock trauma changed that. That was a bump in the road but only showed us how much we cared for each other. In 2015 we decided to move in together and get our first Cavalier, our sweet Gold Dust Woman. She was our little queen and constant companion. A few years of Christmases, wine fests, Les Mills classes, dinners at Woody’s, Vegas trips, and farm weekends later it was 2020. By now our families had meshed and we realized we were all a lot more similar than we thought. A pandemic and a bathroom remodel happened, but we were going strong. We lost our precious yardbird Gold Dust Woman in 2021, it was a tough time but we were there for each other. 2022 brought our first decade together and a new pup to love, our mouthpiece diva, Bobbie Rae. Our mischievous boy Jake followed the following January. In 2023 I decided to make things a bit more formal and by August I had a ring and a plan. I proposed to Ryan at a Margo Price concert and it was an amazing moment. Silver sequins, champagne, and red roses sealed the deal. My mom and friend were in on it too, and of course Margo. I’m still impressed that I pulled it off. Ryan said yes and now here we are, planning our wedding and hope you will come celebrate our love.
