Commercial Street is the main thoroughfare in town, and you can easily spend a day checking out all of the little souvenir shops, art galleries, bookstores, vintage and antique stores, bars, and restaurants along it.
Hit the beaches, some of our favorites including Dog Beach for a quick in-town fix, Herring Cove or Race Point for more expansive beaches out in the dunes, and Boy Beach for our gays.
See a drag show or burlesque performance at The Crown & Anchor, Pilgrim House, or Art House.
Some of our favorite places to eat include: the Provincetown Portuguese Bakery for pastries and malassadas, Kohi and Joe for coffee, The Canteen for lobster rolls and frosè, Pop + Dutch or Relish for to-go sandwiches and picnic supples, Sal’s Place for a romantic Italian dinner on the water, and Provincetown Brewing Co. for local brews and good bar food.
Are you gay? Then we’ll see you at Tea Dance, every day at The Boatslip from 4pm to 7pm.
Go for a bike ride just outside of town on the Province Lands Bike Trail, a loop that will take you through, dunes, pine forests, and cranberry bogs.
