There are a few options when it comes to accommodations for our wedding. Because we are getting married on Labor Day weekend, we strongly recommend that you book early, as Stillwater is a popular destination for long weekend getaways.
The only hotel in this small city we were able to block is the Water Street Inn, details below. There are other hotels within the city that are of similar distance, including the Lowell Inn, and 2 newer (and pricier) options called Hotel Lora and Crosby Hotel. There are also several much smaller bed and breakfast options that you can find easily with a google search. Another great option if you're hoping to stay in Stillwater proper would be a privately operated AirBandB, though these are always a gamble in our experience.
If you're not set on staying in Stillwater, there are countless options in St. Paul or Minneapolis (St. Paul being the slightly closer option). Of course, you'd have to drive or take an Uber to the wedding itself. One option here is the Hyatt in downtown St. Paul; see details below.
The Water Street Inn is a historic hotel in downtown Stillwater, located less than half a mile from our wedding/reception venue. It's the only hotel in Stillwater that allows room blocks. If you'd like to stay here, reservations to get our group rate have to be made over the phone. When you call refer to the "Ryan Eismin" Group. Standard rooms are $229.00 per night and Deluxe rooms are $289.00 per night, with a 2 night minimum stay.
Hyatt Place in downtown St. Paul is located approximately 26 minutes from our wedding venue. If you are looking to stay in the heart of St. Paul we have a few rooms blocked here. Please ask for the Moseley/Eismin Wedding group rate, which is $159 per night for a single and $169 for a double room. Parking is an additional $10 day rate and $22 overnight.
This is a less expensive/ budget option just outside of downtown Stillwater, about an 8 minute drive to our wedding venue. We are in the process of blocking a few rooms here for $149 (2 queens) and $159 (1 king) with a 2 night minimum. When you call make sure you mention this is for the Ryan Eismin/Suzanne Moseley Wedding to get the group rate.
