Ryan and Sarah connected online in June of 2021, and had their first date at Zen Cafe in South Bend, IN. They sat and talked for hours, only leaving the coffee shop to relocate to the parking lot when it closed. When closing time also forced the end of their second and third dates, they both knew there was something special between them!

That summer, they attended the La Porte and Porter county fairs, watched beautiful sunsets, tasted new wines, tried different foods, and hiked miles and miles of trails. Ryan baked his first cake for Sarah's birthday, and Sarah attended her first Phish concert with Ryan in August.

As they spent more and more time together, trying new things and following each other outside of their respective comfort zones, a friendship grew, which would soon deepen into love.

After two years together, Ryan proposed to Sarah on her birthday at Independence Pass in Colorado after a scenic train ride through the mountains and an afternoon hike.

Through all the ups and downs they've experienced over the past three years, Ryan and Sarah have created a relationship built on friendship, support, and love. They know their relationship is a blessing from God, and they can't wait to get married and celebrate with all of you!
