The ceremony will begin at 4pm. Please arrive in advance to allow time for traffic and choosing your seat. We ask that guests arrive no earlier than 3:30.

The Apiary is valet parking only! A trusted attendant will park your car nearby and relieve you of parking stress.

We would love our guests to dress up for the best night ever! Our dress code is formal as set by the venue. Here is a guide on formal attire: https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire For men, we suggest a suit with a tie or bowtie, tuxedos are not expected. A dress of mid or floor length is best suited for formal attire for women. We kindly ask no white dresses, jeans, casual attire, or baseball caps.

The wedding has a elegant, garden party theme filled with pink, white, and gold. Bridesmaids will be in a pink satin and groomsmen in tan. All colors (besides white dresses) are welcome, but bonus points may be awarded to those with pink, gold, or floral accents in their attire! :)

All wedding festivities will take place at The Apiary, so no travel is needed! Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour following the ceremony will be held outside in the gardens, as weather permits.

Due to limited space, we can only allow guests named on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear with your name when you RSVP. We would love to keep our wedding an intimate event with close friends and family!

Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event. Our venue is not suitable for children and does not have a space for childcare to be provided. The only younger guests in attendance will be immediate family members traveling long distances.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer transportation apart from valet parking. However, the venue is near downtown Lexington, which offers an abundance of Ubers and Lyfts at all times! There is also no travel required between the ceremony and reception.

Following the ceremony, the Apiary offers a cocktail hour that includes three appetizers/hors d'oeuvres. The reception will have a plated dinner with a seasonal salad and one choice of entree. Vegetarian and dietary restriction meal options are available. The couple will also have a wedding cake and cupcakes later in the evening.

Drinks are on us! Upon arriving to the venue, all guests can receive a welcome cocktail if they desire. The bar will also be fully open all evening until 10:30pm.

We kindly ask that guests participate in an "Unplugged Ceremony", reserving pictures to be taken only by the photographer. Following the ceremony, feel free to snap all the photos you like!

Your presence matters the most, but the couple greatly appreciates any gift or card! There will be a marked table near the entry of the venue to leave these items.

The couple would love for you to join them for a sparkler sendoff! Help send them off on their new journey around 11pm.

Unfortunately, our venue does not allow any changes to the final headcount past our RSVP date. If your RSVP is not submitted by the date listed on your invitation, late accommodations sadly cannot be made. Keep an eye out for RSVP reminder notifications close to the date!
