Ryan and Faith first met in their kindergarten class, but it wasn't until the end of their junior year of high school that they started talking. Ryan first wished Faith a happy birthday on snapchat on her 17th birthday. Three days later he decided he wanted to continue snapping her. After about seven months of getting to know each other, Ryan finally asked Faith to be his girlfriend on January 26, 2020. They have been inseparable since!

After Ryan accepted a new job, he told Faith that he wanted to celebrate. On August 12, they both got dressed up and decided to eat at Four Brothers in LeMars. On their way home, Ryan got a call from his brother who told him that the cattle were out and they needed his help. Little did Faith know that the cattle were not actually out. Ryan drove Faith over to the pasture, all while she was completely oblivious to what was about to happen. Ryan had planned out the perfect spot in his family's beautiful pasture to pop the question at sunset. Faith could not believe it was actually happening and said YES! It was the most perfect night!
