Our Love Story began in Fairfield in Jr. High School, where we became close friends throughout those early years. We spent countless hours cheering for our little sisters from the bleachers during their basketball games.

After high school, we both went on to Stephen F. Austin University. College life was full of lots of studying, ball games, and plenty of time together. Our time in Nacogdoches was some of our happiest memories together. We moved into our apartment our junior year and became best friends and on December 17th we both graduated, and the real world began.

After graduating, life pulled us in different directions, but just for a moment—Madi moved to Giddings to start her teaching career, but Ryan followed less than a month later to start working in Bastrop. It didn’t take long for us to settle into our new life together. We enjoy cooking together, spending time with family and friends, watching sports and traveling. Some of our favorite places we’ve traveled were Nashville, Vegas, and Florida—whether we’re exploring new places or just hanging out, we’re happiest when we’re together.

Through all our adventures, one place stands out—Rockport. The small beach town holds a special place in both of our hearts. It’s a place we go when we need a break from the real world. Every trip there feels like coming home, and we’re beyond thrilled Rockport is the destination we’re getting married in the very place that’s brought us so much peace and happiness. Getting to share Rockport with the people we love means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter in Our Happy Place!
