EN Es Trenc is one of the best-known beaches on the island of Mallorca because of its Caribbean blue waters and bright white sand that extends over 2 kilometeres along the south of the island. Also, a place very dear to Alba’s heart as it’s one of her family’s favorite spots during the summertime.

The construction of the Cathedral of Mallorca started in the 13th century and ended in the 1630s. The Cathedral is in the Mediterranean Gothic tradition, but over the centuries, it has incorporated the cultural forms of the modern and contemporary periods.
The history of the Cathedral is intimately linked to the local monarchy. After the conquest of Madina Mayurqa in 1229, James I, who was king of Aragon and count of Barcelona, ordered the consecration of the former great mosque to the Virgin Mary as a site for Christian worship and the building of a new church in the style of that time, using part of the site of the old mosque.

La costruzione della Cattedrale di Mallorca iniziò nel XIII secolo e terminò negli anni Trenta del Seicento. La Cattedrale è nello stile gotico mediterraneo, ma nel corso dei secoli ha incorporato le forme culturali dei periodi moderno e contemporaneo.
La storia della Cattedrale è intimamente legata alla monarchia locale. Dopo la conquista di Medina Mayurqa nel 1229, Giacomo I, re dAragona e conte di Barcellona, ​​ordinò la consacrazione dellantica grande moschea alla Vergine Maria come luogo di culto cristiano e la costruzione di una nuova chiesa nello stile di quel tempo, utilizzando parte del sito della vecchia moschea.

EN Said to be one of the best restaurants on the island. While we can’t vouch for ourselves, it’s certainly top of our list. A multi Michelin star restaurant perched on a mountain overlooking the sea with 12 course meals and a wine pairing. This isn’t a dinner, this is an experience.


IT Si dice che sia uno dei migliori ristoranti dell’isola. Anche se non possiamo dirlo per esperienza, questa tappa è sicuramente in cima alla nostra lista. Un ristorante pluristellato Michelin arroccato su una montagna a picco sul mare con pasti di 12 portate e abbinamento di vini. Questa non è una cena, è un’esperienza.

EN If you’re in the mood for a dinner you won’t forget, we can’t recommend this place enough. It was by far the most impressive culinary experience we’ve ever had. Be careful with the wine tasting ;)

Aside from the countless rooms, patios, and galleries, Bar Abaco is known for their commitment to high quality Mallorcan drinks and its bucolic atmosphere. If you do nothing else, check this place out.
