Our love story began in a quirky little bento box restaurant, where the food was subpar but the connection was undeniable. As we awkwardly navigated our first date, sharing laughs over mediocre fried rice, we couldn't help but feel a spark igniting between us. It was the beginning of something special.


Those early days were filled with hours spent by the lake talking and wishing on shooting stars and dreaming of a future together. Little did we know, our wishes were already coming true as we fell deeper in love with each passing moment.


Our love was put to the test when Ryan joined the navy and we were no longer right down the road from each other, but we were now hundreds of miles apart. Despite the distance, our bond remained unbreakable. After countless drives up to Great Lakes, and weekends filled with laughter, smoothies, and mini-golf dates, each moment together was cherished and treasured as well as a reminder that our love will sustain us through the toughest times.


Our commitment to each other was sealed in a spontaneous elopement on September 4th, 2022, in the most unlikely of places - the parking lot of an Olive Garden. Surrounded by our closest friends and family through a Zoom ceremony, we became the Mitchells, ready to face whatever the future held.


After packing up and moving to Sunny San Diego on military orders, we made a temporary home filled with love and long lasting memories. Though we longed to share our happiness and celebrate with our loved ones, we knew that time would eventually reunite us all.


As we look forward to finally celebrating our marriage with our loved ones, we reflect on the journey that brought us here. Through every obstacle and triumph, our love has only grown stronger, as a testament to the bond we share. And as we stand together, hand in hand, we know that our love story is just beginning.
