4 Days To Go!

A Day in Coronado

Morning: Grab breakfast at Claytons Bakery, The Henry, or Crown Bistro and then take a stroll along Orange Avenue to enjoy some sights and shopping. Dani's favorite shop here is Bay Books.

Afternoon: Explore the famous Hotel Del and at the end of your tour, find yourself on the beach to spend a few hours soaking up some San Diego sunshine! Pro tip: enjoy a book you just picked up during your shopping on Orange Ave.

Evening: Grab dinner at Bluewater Boathouse if you love seafood or Little Frenchie (We celebrated our 2 year dating anniversary here). End your day with a sweet treat at Moo Time Creamery!

Another fun option: If you are a big walker, you can take the ferry to Coronado Island and walk to all of these destinations!

A Day in La Jolla

Morning: Grab breakfast at Sugar and Scribe and then walk to the Wedding Bowl for some beautiful beach sites, and La Jolla Cove for sea lion viewings!

Afternoon: Spend time on the beach at La Jolla Shores. If you want some picnic food, you can grab sandwiches and snacks from the Cheese Shop or The Corner Mercantile nearby.

Evening: Head over to Westfield UTC for some shopping and eats. Our favorite boba shop, Happy Lemon, has a stand here. Grab some dinner at Din Tai Fung and finish the night at one of the coolest speakeasies, Raised by Wolves.

Pro tip: You will need to make reservations for many of these spots, so plan ahead and book early if you don't want to miss out on anything!

A Day in Torrey Pines

Morning: Get some coffee and pastries from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - Torrey Pines. Head to Torrey Pines State Natural Preserve for some hiking/nature walks. Our favorite trails are the Guy Fleming Trail and the Beach Trail.

Afternoon: If you are able to splurge a little, enjoy a relaxing massage at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. All spa treatments also include use of their relaxation lounge with a fireplace, steam and sauna room, and their pool and whirlpool, so the value is actually pretty good! Their pool lounge has stunning views of their world renowned golf course as well, so that's definitely a plus for Ryan's peeps ;)

Evening: Make your way to The Craft Taco at SOVA - after all, a trip to SD is not complete without tacos! Once you're refueled, head over to the Torrey Pines Gliderport and end the evening with some gorgeous sunset views!

A Day in North Park+

Morning: Grab breakfast from Breakfast Republic and then stroll along University Street for some shopping. Verbatim Books, Pigment, and Artlexia are some of our favorites.

Afternoon: Get an afternoon pick me up at Communal Coffee and make your way to Balboa Park by the entrance to the Spanish Arts Village. Explore the village and all that the park has to offer. Museums, shows, shops, eats, gardens, picnic spots, you name it! It's truly a stunning spot.

Evening: Have dinner at Buona Forchetta in South Park and finish the night with some libations at Mabel's Gone Fishing (our fave), Part Time Lover (vibes), Seven Grand (whiskey), North Park Beer Company (beer!), or mix 'em up and make your own crawl!

A Day Downtown

Morning: Start your day with a delicious and unique breakfast at Morning Glory (get the soufflé pancakes). Walk along India Street to discover all that Little Italy has to offer.

Afternoon: Make your way to the Seaport Village. There is a plethora of shopping here plus beautiful views, spots to lounge, and our favorite low-key taco spot, Quiero Tacos (listed as Quiero Restaurants on Google Maps).

Evening: Enjoy dinner at Ironside and continue the festivities at any of these incredible speakeasies: False Idol, Young Blood, or Noble Experiment. Also, if you've never had it, Salt and Straw is a great place to have a sweet treat for another "night cap" option.

A Day in Hillcrest+

Morning: Enjoy brunch at Inside Out. If it's a Sunday, go to the Hillcrest Farmer's Market. It is the absolute best! We go there as often as possible.

Afternoon: Spend a few hours exploring the famous San Diego Zoo!

Evening: Have dinner at Trust. They have a wonderfully unique menu that is served somewhat tapas style. Such a fun dining experience. End the night at Gossip Grill to celebrate in true, proud Hillcrest fashion!

A Day in Pacific Beach

Morning: Have breakfast at Kono's Cafe right by the beach. Enjoy a relaxed morning laying on the beach and soaking up the rays.

Afternoon: Get some lunch and brews from the Pacific Beach Fish Shop. Stroll along Garnet Avenue for some shopping. Our favorite shop here is called Pangea. Also, the Baked Bear has unreal ice cream sandwiches.

Evening: Get dinner and drinks at the iconic tiki-themed speakeasy, The Grass Skirt and then make your way to Mission Bay to watch the sunset!
