Our Wedding

Our journey began on a hot summer day in May. If you know Caitlin you know she was 2 hours late to Ryan but perfectly on-time to her. If you know Ryan you know he was just enjoying the sunshine patiently waiting on his woman. Shout out to Brad Paisley. It didn't take long for the two of us to fall in love on the white sandy beaches of Pensacola! Through bible studies, prayer, conversations around what we want in our future, and endless laughs we quickly realized God was blessing both of us with a partner for life. We call our story a journey because not only is it a lifelong journey for the two of us together but it has also been a journey of deepening our relationship with God as individuals and as a couple. We have spent many hours in the Word together, studying God's promises and understanding our purpose as servants to His kingdom. We have also learned through this journey what it means to walk faithfully as a Man and Woman of God and how God intends a marriage to look. As we take this next step in our journey to become one and live till death do us part under the covenant of God, we could not be more excited to serve His kingdom together and have each of you to celebrate our union. Our favorite part of this journey has been God presence at the center of our relationship and all of the promises He has brought to light. The date of 11/8/24 is very special to us because the significance of this date aligns to 1 Kings 8:24. 1 Kings is the 11th book of the bible and chapter 8 verse 24 is speaking of God keeping a promise "as it is today". "You have kept your promise to your servant David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it—as it is today." - NIV We are excited to celebrate the fulfillment of God's promise to us with you! We understand with a short timeline, not everyone will be able to attend and we want you to know that is okay. We are grateful for everyone of you and you have made an impact in each of our lives. We look forward to celebrating with all who can join, and sharing the memories with all who are unable.

If you are traveling in from across the country and will be flying, we recommend flying into the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport located approximately 42 Minutes from Sandestin Resort.

Sandestin offers a variety of hotel and condo options through their website. Unfortunately, we were not able to obtain a group code because of the variety of options at many different price points. However, you can visit this link to see all available options on the resort property for you to enjoy the weekend.
