CAN I BRING MY KID(S)?
While we love all of your kids, we will not be accommodating any children at our wedding. If you would like your kids to join you on vacation in Mexico, we have provided a link below of verified babysitters so that you can arrange childcare for the day of our wedding.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
We kindly ask that only those who are explicitly invited on invitations attend. We hope you understand that we will not be accommodating additional plus ones.
HOW DO I RSVP?
We will provide a link to RSVP once our formal invitations are sent out closer to the date.
CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE ATTIRE EXPECTATIONS IN MORE DETAIL?
Why yes!!! See below for Pinterest inspiration (separated by gender, but choose your own adventure).
Here are some taglines to describe the vibe: Mexico inspired, funky, spunky, and elegant. Dress up, make it flirty, and make sure you can dance in it! This is not a costume party, but we encourage you to infuse your unrestrained personality into your best “beach formal” look!
Can we pop by to say hi?
We are so excited for everyone to join us at Teitiare on the afternoon of our wedding. However, we would like to preserve that special moment, so we’d prefer to connect with you on the beach or around town in Sayulita! Snaps for healthy boundaries!!!
WHAT'S THE WEATHER GOING TO BE LIKE?
Sayulita’s January weather is typically sunny in the 70s, with cooler breezes at night. The sun is very strong, so don’t forget to wear sunscreen!
WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
While our wedding will be a formal beach event, Sayulita itself is quite casual. The most common attire around town is bathing suits and cover-ups.
There are many pharmacies around town that carry any basic cosmetic you may need, but if you are looking for a specific product, we recommend bringing it in your suitcase.
WHAT ARE THE FOOD OPTIONS IN SAYULITA?
There are myriad restaurants that range from authentic Mexican, to Italian and American, and all at a range of price points from $1 tacos to $10-$30 sit-down meals. There are a bunch of tiendas (mini-markets) in town that sell basic groceries. For a wider selection of groceries, we recommend stopping at a Super Mercado in Puerto Vallarta before you arrive in Sayulita.
ANY OTHER TRAVEL TIPS?
Language: It is possible to get around Sayulita without knowing how to speak Spanish. However, we highly recommend downloading Google Translate to make things easier. We can promise you the Nanimal is already practicing rolling her “r’s”!
Water: Sayulita's tap water is NOT potable. Please expect to buy bottled water and do not brush your teeth from the tap. Many Airbnbs and hotels also come with water bubblers which are safe to drink from.
Toilets: Sayulita's sewage systems are quite weak. Please remember to throw your toilet paper in the trash and NOT in the toilets.
WHO SHOULD WE CONTACT WITH QUESTIONS?
