Ali and Ryan were introduced through a mutual friend of Ali's that Ryan met while teaching a wilderness medicine class. They first met each other rock climbing after moving to Massachusetts for work. After climbing they spent a few hours talking while standing in the rain and it was love at first sight from then on. It just took them some time to figure it out. They spent the next few months cooking, hiking and realizing they were meant for each other.
