Ryan and Mikayla met in their freshman year sharing a Biology class at Kellam High School. The two started dating in January of their Sophomore year.

After many many school dances together, Ryan and Mikayla both graduated high school in June of 2020.

Starting August of 2020, Mikayla started at Shenandoah University and Ryan started at James Madison University, only being a hour apart.

Mikayla graduated in December of 2023 and started at the Disney College Program which led to Ryan's first ever Disney trip! Ryan and Mikayla had their college graduation ceremonies in May of 2024.

August of 2024, Ryan and Mikayla moved to Washington DC in their first apartment together.

April 17, 2025 was a day to remember! After a lovely day of puzzles, gelato, and putt putt, Ryan proposed to Mikayla at the Tidal Basin in Washington DC!

On Mother's Day in 2025, Mikayla and Ryan became pet parents, adopting their puppy Fork!

August of 2025 was a busy month for Mikayla and Ryan with moving to Reston, VA and a week long trip to Honolulu, Hawaii.

On October 26, 2025, Ryan and Mikayla got legally married in the same park that the wedding venue is! It was a small ceremony with only immediate family, officially tying the knot after over 7 years together.

The lovely couple continues to have fun doing life together!
