Who knew that three years after meeting each other, we would be here! We met in January of 2020 through a group of mutual friends and it didn't take long for us to become close friends who started making so many fun memories together! However, due to being sent home from college because of Covid, we continued getting to know each other over Facetime while being more than 800 miles apart. Thankfully, Hallie was able to join some friends for a big group trip that summer to New Hampshire where they all got to be together, and Ryan and Hallie were able to become better friends! When we got back to campus in September of 2020, Ryan asked Hallie to be his girlfriend to which she responded "finally!"

However, after many months of dating, we decided to take a break. During this time apart, we each focused on our individual relationship with God while maintaining a subtle friendship. It was in October 2021 when the Lord brought us back together and we've been inseparable ever since! Spending time with each other's families, brunch dates, and trying new things together have made up many of our favorite memories!

Then the best day ever happened on January 28th, 2023 when Ryan proposed!! While trying out a new brunch spot that morning, Ryan suggested we go take a walk around a park that we had been to before. It was at this park that Ryan intentionally led us down a path that made for a beautiful proposal spot. It was then that Hallie made the easiest decision by saying YES!!!
