Absolutely! We would love for you to enjoy Red River, and our wedding, with your whole family! Please let us know in the RSVPs that a child is coming and what age they are!

A block of rooms have been reserved for the wedding. Katie has pre-reserved rooms for you under your name. Please call the Alpine Lodge at 575-754-2952 and give your name and how many people you will need to accommodate and we will get you squared away! FYI: The lodge is NOT pet-friendly. If you plan on having your furry friends near, please board them or find pet-friendly lodging.

Although you would only need one night at the lodge if you came to the wedding, we encourage you to use our celebration as a getaway! You are more than welcome to stay for a few days with us and enjoy some of what Red River has to offer! Many of our out-of-state guests are staying 3+ nights, and in-state guests are staying 2+!

Our wedding will be a wedding of course, but it will not be a black-tie affair! Summer in Red River is "warm" for us locals but our average high is 75 and lows do get down into the 40s. We suggest sundresses with a sweater or jacket and jeans and a button-up for gentlemen. Ultimately, wear what you feel comfortable in, and if you'd like to coordinate colors with us, wear fall-colored earth tones or show up in a pop of blue!

The weather in August is in the 70s for a high during the day and in the low 40s nightly. We would highly suggest packing layers and keep in mind some of the activities you may want to do will affect what you want to pack!

Due to the fact that we have fabulous weather in the summer in Red River, NM, we have chosen to have our ceremony and celebration outside! Please plan accordingly when it comes to temperatures and comfy shoes to wear.
