Our Wedding

Where do we even begin?Neither of us would have imagined in 2022 that we’d stumble into something so life-changing that we'd meet a stranger who would instantly feel like home. But from the moment we met, we were inseparable. It was like the universe quietly whispered, “This is it.”Whitney's:From the start, I knew Ryan had such a kind and wonderful soul. In fact, just three days after meeting him, I already knew he was someone special and that I could see myself being with him. I can’t pinpoint the exact moment I realized Ryan was the one because, in truth, that love was there from the very beginning. It was in the way he made me feel supported, safe, and truly seen. I never imagined I’d find someone who loves me so deeply and lifts me so high. Ryan is my biggest cheerleader, always reminding me that I’m doing great, even on the days when I forget it myself.As for our favorite memories? There are far too many to count and if I tried, I’d be writing a novel. Every single day with Ryan adds a new chapter to our story, and now we’re about to start our favorite one yet: becoming husband and wife.

Ryan's:I'll never forget the day I saw Whitney for the first time. I was immediately enamored by her beauty, her wit, and her infectious personality. By the end of that night, I found myself searching for any reason, any excuse, to see her again. We went on dates, we shared our favorite movies, we binged countless TV shows, and desperately searched for plans to spend just one more day together. Fast forward to now, each and every has been a blessing to share with the love of my life. If our relationship were a puzzle, Whitney and I would be the first two pieces; an instant and perfect fit. We didn’t yet know what the full picture would become, but we knew we were meant to be connected. Over time, we’ve found more pieces that fit seamlessly: our careers, our shared hobbies, our first apartment together, and most recently, Gus (the cutest dachshund you’ll ever meet). Piece by piece, we’ve been building something beautiful, filled with priceless moments and wonderful memories. I couldn’t be more excited to add our marriage as the next piece in our ever-growing family puzzle.

Lily has been my best friend for as long as I can remember, someone I could always count on, even though miles have separated us these past few years. I can’t imagine my life without her, and I am beyond excited to have her by my side on such a special day. She is kind, funny, and altogether a truly wonderful person and friend.

Whether it's watching a movie, playing a game, having a heart-to-heart, or doing literally anything, I know that any time spent with Reid is never time wasted....... I met Abby back in seventh grade, and she’s been by my side ever since. Her outgoing personality helped bring me out of my shell, and her honesty and loyalty mean the world to me. She’s always there for me, and I know I can count on her no matter what. I’m so grateful for our many years of friendship and all the amazing memories we’ve made together.

I met Sammy just a few weeks after stepping foot on UK's campus as a freshman. Sammy was by my side through all the ups and downs. He was always there to give me advice, a distraction, or a good laugh when I needed it the most. Although I would never sign a lease him again, he truly enriched my life by being the guy I knew I could always count on.

I met Kadey while I was at UK through Ryan, and I’m so incredibly glad that I did. I didn’t make many friends at UK that I felt would be in my life forever, but from the moment I met Kadey, I knew she was someone special. Even though we’ve only known each other for a short time, I know our friendship has so many memories still to come. I’m so grateful to have her in my life and honored to have her as one of my bridesmaids

I met Drew the same day I met Sammy. Almost instantly, I knew what a incredible friend Drew would be. He has never failed to make me laugh with his uncanny Borat impression (and resemblance) and he as always been by my side through thick and thin. Drew has been a constant in my life that I legitimately couldn't imagine going to UK without. Incredible dude, incredible 'stache, 10/10 no notes.

Mylah has been in Ryan’s life since they were kids, and I met her right when we started dating. I instantly loved her outgoing, funny, and loving personality. She’s someone I know I can always count on, and I’ve cherished every moment we’ve shared. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on our big day.

I think I could write a novel about Aidan. There's to much too condense into one paragraph but I'll try my best. Aidan is practically my other brother. I'd trade almost anything to go back to the summer after 8th grade when I spent nearly every single day with him. One of us would spend a night at the other's house, and then beg our parents for "One more day!" that would turn into a week if they'd let it. I'll cherish those memories forever.

Aamiya, my little sister that I was truly blessed with. She’s someone I can always count on to make me laugh, dance with, and watch the same movies over and over again. Aamiya is smart, hilarious, blunt, and overall an amazing young woman. I couldn’t ask for a better little sister, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side

In 6th grade, when we got our school schedules, I just so happened to share every single class with kid named Ben McNamee. That happened again in 7th, and once more in 8th. Through KYA, KUNA, Tennis, Soccer, Robotics, and what seems like a million other clubs, Ben and I were always there pushing each other to be great. Rarely will a day go by where Ben and I don't talk on the phone. All those years of memories cemented a lifelong friendship that I'm very lucky to have.

We kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Women are encouraged to wear dresses or a nice blouse with dress pants. Men may wear business-casual attire such as a dress shirt with khaki pants or dress slacks. Please no jeans. Thank you for helping us make our day feel extra special!
