Ryan & Gavin's Story

It all started freshman year of high school when Ryan and Gavin met through mutual friends. What began as a simple friendship soon blossomed into something more. Through the ups and downs of high school life, they became good friends and spent many choir concerts, football games, and social events together. By senior year, they began dating.

After high school, life took them to a long distance relation while Gavin lived in College Station and Ryan lived in Denton and attended the University of North Texas. While they spent their freshman year of college apart, the world was changed by the COVID-19 pandemic, they both found themselves back at home.

Their next big adventure took them to Oklahoma, where Ryan moved to attend The University of Oklahoma. Gavin, always supportive and ready for a new chapter, followed her there. It was a period of growth, exploration, and countless memories in a new state. In May of 2023, after Ryan's graduation, they decided to return home to be closer to family and friends.

In a beautiful moment full of love and emotion, Gavin proposed, and Ryan said yes. Their journey together, filled with laughter, adventure, and the support of one another, continues to grow as they plan the next chapter of their lives.

Ryan and Gavin share a love for traveling—especially to Colorado, where they explore the mountains and enjoy the beauty of nature. They also share their lives with their energetic and lovable German Shepherd, Nova, who brings endless joy to their home.

As they embark on this next adventure—marriage—they’re excited for all that’s to come and all the memories they’ll continue to create together.
