Ryann and Jon officially met on November 7th, 2020 while out with friends at Madison's on the Plaza (RIP).

A few weeks before meeting, Cyrena had tried to talk Jon up to Ryann and show her his Instagram profile. Although Ryann thought Jon was cute, she was doubtful that they would ever end up meeting, or if they did that it wouldn't end up working out.

Fast forward a couple of weeks, Ryann had plans to go spend the day with a few of her friends. What she didn't know was that Cyrena (aka the real MVP) had invited Jon to join the group that day. Ryann was immediately attracted to Jon's personality and confidence. She told Cyrena that she thought he was cute and it turns out that Jon felt the same about Ryann!

Jon officially asked for Ryann's number a few weeks after first meeting at one of his concert's that Ryann attended (shoutout COVID concert). Afterwards, Jon quickly tested Ryann's patience by waiting 2 weeks before reaching out, and it was lucky for Jon that Ryann had COVID during this time and had nothing better to do for 10 days then to text him back ;). Jon sparked conversation by teasing Ryann about Kansas State losing to Iowa State in football.

As soon as Ryann was COVID free, they went on their first date to Rockhill Grill, and the rest is history!

A little over 2 years later Jon proposed on March 10th, 2023 at Boulevard Brewing Company. The surprise continued when Ryann was lead to a private room where all of their close family and friends were there to celebrate!
