Our Wedding

How We MetPeter and Rycka met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in 2017—just a brief introduction, nothing more. Months later, fate gave them a second chance at a New Year’s Eve party. This time, they talked... and Peter&nbsp;spilled his beer on her. What began as a simple conversation quickly turned into, “You owe me dinner,” followed by late-night talks, spontaneous adventures, and the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt. They have been inseparable ever since—growing together, supporting each other, and falling more in love every day. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter with all of you.

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Mexico! The Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun is a new all-inclusive resort on a beautiful stretch of white sand in the Riviera Maya. It’s got a great mix of relaxation and fun — from beach days and pool time to one of the Caribbean’s biggest on-site water parks with slides, lazy rivers, and splash zones for all ages. If you’re thinking about upgrading, we recommend the Diamond Club rooms. You’ll get access to premium liquor, a private lounge and pool area, and most importantly — your concierge can make restaurant reservations for you (which means no lining up at 5:30 to snag a dinner spot). We can’t wait to kick back, relax, and celebrate with everyone!

Embrace colour in all its beauty, from soft pastels to bold, tropical hues. Cultural attire such as Filipino Barongs are warmly welcomed and celebrated! Please keep in mind the outdoor setting and dress comfortably for warm weather—light, breathable fabrics are your best friend. Men: Light-weight suits, dress shirts, or linen sets in cheerful or neutral tones; jackets are optional for a relaxed yet polished look.
