Rylee: Justin and I met as he tripped over a campfire on his way over to introduce himself. I always joke with him now that I probably made him nervous. As I go to introduce myself, he blurts out, "Rylee Turner?" and I'm taken back that this cute guy even knows my name. I giggle and he plays it off, saying I show up under his "suggested friends" on Facebook. After our short introduction, Justin, myself, and a few friends end up staying up until 2am telling ghost stories, and I think Justin even made up a rap or two. One thing that hasn't changed since then is how much this guy can make me laugh. Justin: This story’s very different depending on who you ask. If you ask Rylee, I was this funny enough guy who was obviously into her. If you ask me, I was the smooth operator telling her scary stories and making her laugh all night.

What was your most memorable date? Rylee: One of the first nights Justin and I hung out, we decided to go study at the library on campus (that didn't last long). As the boredom hit, we decided to go find these secret tunnels that ran under the campus grounds. Going into the night, we were positive it was a myth. I'm still not sure how we found them, but we snuck into a classroom that had stairs leading underground. We explored the tunnels for a while and eventually found another staircase bringing us back up from underground. We somehow ended up across campus in a completely different lecture hall. Justin: We went to the middle-level roof of the Death Star, this Davis-famous campus building, just to find some quiet space on a Davis weekend night. We talked for hours and occasionally watched some drunk college kids try to find their way home. What's your favorite activity together? Rylee: Justin is great at snowboarding and has taken the time to teach me as well! I am still very much a beginner... but I love trying something new and seeing why Justin loves it so much. Justin: Wordhunt battles. My all-time record speaks for itself. Who's going to take out the trash? Rylee: I will pass that off to Justin... I trade taking the trash out for wiping down the counters LOL Justin: How did this get on here? Rylee hasn’t taken out the trash in 6 years now. Does that change when you get married or something? What's the best meal you have eaten together? Rylee: Before dating Justin, I was actually a vegetarian, which is funny because I think my favorite meal we have eaten together is filet mignon with lobster tail at Flemmings. Justin: This one’s tough. Rylee’s a beast in the kitchen, and it’s really made me quite the food critic. We love Italian food though... I’d say Valentine’s Day 2022 at Il Fornaio. A close second would be our first Valentine's Day when I made us Italian food, only because I was super nervous it wouldn't turn out too great, but it did. ﻿We are regulars at... Rylee: Lolita's, where Justin always tells me my eyes are too big for my stomach. Justin: The karaoke living room at way past bedtime o'clock. And our local taphouse.

Fun Fact: Growing up, Rylee and Reece would beg their parents to let them share a room just to get annoyed with each other 6 months later and have their own rooms again. This happened at least 5 separate times...

AFTER PARTY

Let's keep the celebrations going! We will be hosting an after party at The Links at Lakehouse Resort from 10:15pm - 1am. With dinner being early we will have some late night bites available for our guests. There will also be more dancing and drinks. We hope you can make it! Can I bring a Plus One?

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope.

Are Kids Welcome?

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate for everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. We hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes! There is complimentary valet parking upon arrival.&nbsp;

Can I leave my car overnight so I can enjoy the bar?

Of course! We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. The venue will allow guests to leave their vehicles overnight and pick them up the next morning. We recommend using rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber) if you plan on drinking!&nbsp; Scheduling an Uber ahead of time is best to avoid an influx of Uber requests. Suggested time for pick up from venue is 10:15pm

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both will be held outdoors, we recommend a jacket for the evening.&nbsp;

Is there a dress code?

Yes...the dress code is Semi-Formal, black tie optional. We recommend a suit &amp; midi to full length dresses. No jeans please!
