Robin and I first met in June of 2019 when he was in Florence playing for the Redwolves CPL baseball team. I worked as in intern. After the games, meals were prepared for the players to enjoy after each game. Robin was ALWAYS the last out of the locker rooms and last to fix his plate which meant I had to stay and fix his plate, while the other interns there for school credit had a meeting. We found ourselves getting locked into the stadium almost every time because all we could do was sit and talk for hours. He eventually asked me to “show him around Florence” and we went to Cold Stone for ice cream after walking around the mall on an off day. When the time came for him to go back home to Orlando we both agreed we had to stay in touch.

After talking every single day for 6 months, he invited me down to his families home in Orlando for Christmas. On December 21st, 2019, as he was dropping me off at the airport, we decided to make it official.

Ever since then we have been riding miles and miles on that interstate between us. Between Florida, Georgia, and Charleston, our love has known no distance and gotten even stronger.

We cannot wait for all of the adventures that await us.
