How it Started:

We grew up living just a neighborhood away and ended up going to rival schools. We didn't actually meet until November of 2017 when we worked together at Firehouse Subs.

We started dating on January 13th, 2017.

The Proposal:

After 3 years together, Brett proposed at my birthday dinner. I was told to stand at the edge of the room to wait for my last gift, and when I turned around, there Brett was on one knee. It became a genuine Brett moment when he opened his mouth and said "Hi." (Don't worry, he ended up adding to the speech!) We were surrounded by both of our families and the day was filled with so much love and laughter. It was the perfect day.
