Our Love Story

Rylie's Story : Garrett and I met in a very modern way. In the spring of 2022, I was preparing to move from Pennsylvania to St. Petersburg, Florida, and during a visit with my sister and her friend in Philadelphia, they decided to help me set up a Hinge profile.That same night, I matched with Garrett, and we exchanged our first messages. We continued talking and texting over the next six weeks, clearly, he was very patient. Six weeks later, after I officially moved, we finally had our first date. We went to the food trucks in Lakewood Ranch, and I still remember how he looked at me and told me how beautiful my eyes are all night. He still looks at me the same way. Our second date was at a tiki bar on the St. Pete Pier, and that’s when I really knew he was the one.Before long, I was spending more time in Sarasota than in St. Pete, which says a lot considering St. Pete had always been my dream place to live. By 2023, I officially made Sarasota my home with Garrett.Over the last few years, we’ve had so many adventures in Florida together, exploring St. Pete, Sarasota, Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and traveling everywhere from Nebraska and Pennsylvania to Savannah and Charleston. We’ve even done a few 16-hour road trips and somehow still liked each other at the end.On September 20th, 2025, Garrett proposed on the beach at Longboat Key at sunset. His sister, Alex, and her fiancé, Blake, helped make sure everything was perfect.We’re loving this season as fiancés and can’t wait to start our next chapter as husband and wife and to celebrate with all of you!

Garrett's Story: We met on Hinge, and our first date was “Ranch Nite Wednesday” at Waterside. I didn’t know what to expect, but I remember immediately thinking that Rylie was not only beautiful but genuinely one of the kindest people I had ever met. It didn’t take long before I realized this was something real. It felt easy from the start.Since then, we’ve grown closer in a way that has felt completely natural. We love traveling together, especially to Charleston and Savannah, but honestly we just love being with each other. It doesn’t matter what we’re doing. Even normal, everyday things feel better when we’re together.When it came time to propose, I knew I wanted to do it at Longboat Key. I asked my sister Alex and her fiancé Blake to help set up a picnic on the beach, and everything came together exactly the way I hoped. The sunset was perfect, and the love of my life said yes.Now we’re looking forward to finally getting married on July 25, 2026, and I can’t wait to call Rylie my wife. She makes me want to be a better man every day. In my faith, in our relationship, and in life in general. I am incredibly grateful to be building a future with her, and I cannot wait to have our friends and family there to celebrate with us.
