Rylie and Connor met at Camp Goodbuddy summer of 2023! Within the first couple days Connor started crushing heavily on the hot cabin leader named Rylie and it was a perfect coincidence that they would be leading a group of campers deemed The House of the Eagle. After spending the whole week together leading kids through wild challenges, Connor knew that he had to ask her out. He played it cool for about 3 days before asking her on a “walk”… on this walk he told her that he liked her but didn’t know what to do since they lived very far away from each other. So, they decided to just have fun for the rest of camp and not do anything crazy… which lasted 2 days. They went on a little hike and it was then when Connor asked Rylie to be his girlfriend.

After camp ended and all the campers went home, Rylie and Connor had one night to spend together in Colorado before Connor went back to Oregon the next morning. They made a last minute change to their dinner reservation and ended up having a picnic at Rylie’s favorite spot in all of Fort Collins…. the infamous soup can!!

Through the many months of long distance they’ve made multiple trips to visit each other, met each others friends and family, spent hours and hours on FaceTime, and fell more and more in love:) It didn’t take long for them to see that spending the rest of life together sounded like a pretty awesome idea.

With prayer and the support of many loved ones around us, Connor began to plan his move to Colorado to start the next chapter together in Fort Collins. He’ll be moving to Colorado the first week of May… and we’ll be getting married quickly after!

We are so excited for this season and to have all our favorite people together to celebrate with! Thank you to everyone for being our constant encouragers and supporters! Long distance is hard enough, but having so many sweet friendships and family members around us has made the biggest difference.
