As we chose our bridesmaids and groomsmen, it was important to us to be surrounded by people who not only support us but also share our faith and encourage us in it. Catherine, Jenny’s sister, has become her closest friend—someone who continually challenges her, supports her, and walks alongside her in life and in faith. The two of them do just about everything together—from late-night talks to spontaneous trips, they've become travel buddies and partners-in-crime for life’s adventures. If you know Jenny, you know how inseparable they are. Asking Catherine to be Jenny’s maid of honor was an easy and meaningful decision, and we’re so thankful to have her by our side as we commit our lives to each other and to God.

My sister is the oldest, and growing up, she definitely took that role seriously- playing the older sister role quite seriously. But as we’ve gotten older, we’ve become closer friends, and I’ve come to really appreciate her honesty, strength, and the way she always shows up when I need her. Whether I’m broken down on the side of the road or in full-on crisis mode, she’s the one who sweeps in and saves the day. That’s why I asked her to be my bridesmaid. It means a lot to have her standing by my side.

Ryne and Chris Dubowski have been close friends for over 22 years. They first met as freshmen at the University of South Carolina and shared a room from their early days in Bates House 1007B all the way through graduation. Through the years, Chris has remained a constant and trusted friend—someone Ryne has always turned to for wisdom, steady support, and honest advice. Ryne deeply respects and admires Chris, especially in his role as a dedicated husband and father. We’re truly honored to have him stand by Ryne’s side on our wedding day.

Ryne met Sam Popa three years ago, shortly after accepting Christ and beginning to attend Temple Baptist Church. Since then, Sam has been a steady source of spiritual encouragement and a trusted guide through life’s challenges. He has not only been a faithful friend but also a strong supporter of Ryne and Jenny's relationship from the beginning. Sam and his wife have shown Ryne great kindness and generosity, always extending a warm welcome to Jenny offering their home to her, during her visits to Virginia. Ryne deeply respects and trusts Sam, who has consistently exemplified devotion to Christ and wonderful example in his marriage. It is truly an honor to have Sam stand beside Ryne on our wedding day.
